Liking the 280 but agree a bit of light is needed on the rear quarter, and maybe less tilt and gell your flash so color temp is closer to ambient?

alex, haha, noticed that a while back.

agreed and a bit on the front wheel.

Being a canon shooter I recommend you get a couple of 580exIIs, a couple of stands to put them on and cybersyncs to trigger them remotely.

The 580EX ii's are fairly expensive. The 430's are a little bit more cheaper :) Anyone use these?

I use a 580ex2 ad an original 430ex. Both are nice but the 580ex2 is WAY more versatile/controllable

When shooting interiors i see some people are covering the car with something. Is that just a thin white sheet/black sheet? Sorry if this has been talked about already:(

A bit over processed for my tastes, but I like the lighting.

I agree, I almost like the setup shot more than the final shot.

I actually like the dark and intimidating look of the final shot ... I would however quickly clone out that yellow thing in front of the wheel, it destracts a lot ... and to be honest, I don't like the fish eye effect ... it just doesn't work on cars in my opinion, sorry.
