^- o_O I'd have to question that! it looks almost intentional that you focused on the people to the right of the image...

if not, thats some SEVERE backfocus!

It was a shot from the hip sort of thing. If I got down every time I shot my kids I would need knee surgery by now.

I see and empathize

Maybe a D5100 would be a good investment? Shoot from the hip with the tilty screen!

I did have a 60D for a couple of months and the articulating screen was nice for that. In the end I still prefer my Nikons and I am on the look out for something to complement my D3s, especially for family vacations. Kind of waiting for all the supposed late month announcements.

Fair enough :)

For macro shooting i'd love a tilty screen, i hope the 7DII has one

I was a bit surprised to see this Adorama's front page today:

I thought did Fuji release a new F mount DSLR? After googling it I remembered when it was released a few years back.

Well the deed is done. D5100 on the way.
Got some great shots of the fam in an Irish pub today. Gotta love the D700 and 35f2, going to be hard to replicate that for sure!
Good shots with your 3100 Kenji!

Nice and congrats. I think there will be a big shake up with my gear when the newer stuff is released. I admit to chasing new toys when the old ones work perfectly well.

Thank you :) The 3100 is my moms i merely was making sure it was working when i was using it and also learning it so i can teach her how to use it easier (Cause otherwise i was fumbling and wouldnt know anymore than she does...)

Congrats man, i totally agree with your choice :)

As for me with gear, im currently heavily considering selling the 100-400 (Because its BARELY used, I havnt taken it out in months and i dont think ill be using it again until next year) and picking up a short fast prime to go with the Sigmalux...

I'm going to start saving again next March and a year from then I'd like to have the D700 back and a compliment of zooms and primes.

Yeah, I don't like it but I think it's a good economical tide-me-over choice!

I've almost used them all (af ones) the only exception is the Nikon 85 AFS, there is no bad 85. The Sigma 85 1.4 is probably my favorite though!

Hey mike, sup buddy! 2nd is intentionally oversharperned. I used a PCE on that one and only one eye was in focus lol.
