Here is 2 more, but these are straight out of the camera just resized in photoshop then resharpened...........why do images go soft after you resize them?

If you are going to post them up, try resizing it to 1024 on the long side, then applying USM at 200, .3, 0
Then save it to where it's no more than 150kb if you are going to use the forums server, or something somewhat bigger if you are going to use another server and link to it. See if that looks better to you.

Hey Jason, you can always go back and dig thru your archives and edits some old 1DS files that you missed the first time around ! :D:lol:

I'm still doing that with 20D files that I shot years ago !

Hey y'all. I've found a 1Ds for a sweet price, but it has 120k shots. Is it still worth buying? Or should I leave it?
I shoot mostly motorsport, but I'm keen for something different.

Cheers!

Quite hard to judge, I think that in most cases it is not the best choice for motorsports. If the price is really sweet, I would give it a try for sure (if You consider other photography areas).

It's priced at the equivalent of $580USD. And I'm keen on other areas, I just need to get some more EF lenses.

That's a good price if it includes a charger. A new Canon charger from B&H is $350, so you need to make sure you get that with it. And hopefully a battery, although you will probably also have to buy a battery anyway. If it comes with one that is old, it may not hold a charge.

I sold one of my 2 1DS for $800 with less than 30K actuations on it. I think you should wait and not rush into buying a camera that already has more than 100K actuations.

Need advise, my 1Ds has been acting funny of late and I fear it's more than a battery issue. I put a fully charged battery into the camera the other day and at first it read fully charged and then bam....nothing, battery read empty, so I went to B&H and got a third party battery for my 1Ds and charged it fully first and got the same exact response, so before I return it to KEH for repair is there anything I can or should do to try and fix the problem??:(

The only time I've had this happen to my 1Ds is when the seal on the battery will get pinched while being inserted into the battery chamber and it only happens with the 3rd party battery's not my canon battery and on my 1D Mark II it never happens.
