Can you take my picture on some railroad tracks?! No, that's illegal now. I'm really sorry.

Mine was backordered until the 11th. I wonder if they'll really ship them. Has anyone had theirs shipped yet?

Replacing my Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24mm, Canon 17-55mm, Sigma 30mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, and 150-500mm with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. I still have the 17-55 and the 30 available for sale.

I always wanted one of these, for about a year, and then finally I got it, and I was very disappointing. It is a cool gadget to get some neat angles, but it didnt work as a "out and about with my daughter" tripod as I wanted it it. I got a $22 slik mini II tripod and couldn't be happier.

That stinks.

I sent a complaint to Amazon's customer service department. Surely DBRoth must place some value on being an Amazon vendor.

Normally, I'd chalk this up to being a pricing error except that the deal came and went, apparently as stock became available. And, the price wasn't unreasonable for a closeout (DBRoth is a an importer from China).

Edit: My cancellation notice said that the tripod wasn't available from DBROTH but they have plenty of them in stock. Funny, DBROTH explains in it's Price Protection policy that "Our merchandise comes in at different times, and from different vendors at different prices, which is therefore modified on a daily to weekly basis. Just as we cannot charge our customer more after there is a price increase we can also not refund after a price decrease." They currently has available at full price, which is pretty much the same as charging me more.

Complained to Amazon, they let me re-order from them and adjusted the price to $14.99. Got to love Amazon :)

Ditto (Except mine was $14.20 because the representative rounded the credit to $25)
