Almost all shots are keepers as far as focus. I soon picked up the changes from my 10D. In fact I used my 10D as a back up camera recently so to save lens changes and I had to try to remember how to use it again. It felt like a toy in comparison. John A Thompson

The odd thing is that so far I get the best pictures when I turn off the fancy features and use it like my older 20D. I think thats me not the camera though. If I set to 8fps I get at least two shots even if I just brush the button so I use 5fps for now. Similarly the autofocus is awesome, but sometimes it hits the wrong thing and I don't realise, especialy in ai servo where it doesn't use the red lights. So I have been using the centre spot only sometimes. I think I need more practice with this camera until I learn to get the best out of it - so I will have to take loads more pictures but thats OK after all its what I bought it for!

Good value in my book - but then again I'm old and when you get to my age, things take on different priorities. ![]() Regards
