Well, our 2 day summer was over today! :( Warm Temps and Sun were replaced with cool temps and RAIN! :(

Out of sheer boredom and the need to do something creative, I rushed outside during a major rainstorm to grab One Photo before I got drenched and without ruining my camera. As I started to do my editing of the photo I decided to change it from a color photo to a Black and White photo. :) I think that one photo turned out rather nicely. :)

Here's a photo of the rose that I changed editing styles with today:

Both are good. However, I do like the second edit better. What did you do differently?

Thanks! :) On the second one I adjusted the Recovery to +25, ran the fill light to +17, Blacks to +20, Contrast to +40.

Then in the Tone Curves I did the following:
Highlights to +20
Lights to +30
Darks to +16
Shadows to +18

Black and white Mix
Red -10
Orange -19
yellow -20
Green -27
Aqua -18
Blue +11
Purple +17
Magenta +4

Then I set the Contrast to High Contrast

Noise Reduction actions were all set to 100.

The first photo was just about as the camera took the photo.

I meant to tell you earlier that I liked the positioning better also in the second pic.
