Yes.

Will it work with the YN flashes too?

You mean Canon master and a YN slave? Not sure about this one but you think it should as long as it has ETTL.

If you want an accurate answer, you need to specify the model number of the flash you are talking about.

I have a YN 467 Ettl and I am thinking of buying the new 565EX

I am pretty sure that the YN 467 will not work as an eTTL slave. It will work as an optical triggered slave in manual. If I remember the specs for the YN 565 it will work as an eTL slave but not a master.

If you need ETTL, that's the cheapest way to use it off camera. Wireless ETTL triggers are pretty expensive. You could also sell your current flash and upgrade to a newer model.

But only the 430 or 580 will do ettl wirelessly right? Both are still not within my budget. In the meantime I am waiting for some hands on reviews about the YN565EX maybee I will buy one. But I will still have no wireless ETTL. So I guess I`ll havew to stick with the wireless cord for now.

You have lots of options with Canon EX flashes (except 270EX), and third party flashes from Yong Nuo, Nissin, Metz, Sigma, etc.
