Just had the Battle of Britain Memorial Lancaster fly over my house, quite stunning.

Awesome. I was living in Battersea in 2002 when there was a Lancaster doing a fly past for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. It flew right over the house, and was amazing :)

Thanks for the comment Steve. Great set. Did you have to duck under them or something. :)

I've voted too.

I drove the cycle route today - not on purpose, but I was on my way to Horsham. There were quite a lot of cyclists on the route today - why were they doing that
I'm knackered, had a morning full of naughty dogs, and then an afternoon photographing a 70th birthday party. Got some nice fun family portraits I think - we cleared one of the teenagers bedrooms and used it as a studio.

This is the owner of the the Heli Charter company. His Heli that was supposed to be doing trips suffered an air strike yesterday, and it badly damaged the tail rotor. Luckily everyone was ok.

I'm new to London and I'll be spending the next 3 weeks over here. For those that have been in London for a long time, can you suggest a list of places to go to get decent views of the city? Where are your favourite places to go and photograph the city?

Anywhere along the river I suppose, no expert myself as many others in here are. Anyone?
