I think you'v done a good job, no.2 is really nice, i think a the lighting could have been a little better in no.3 and and in no.1 the background horizon looks a little bit to dark... but its a really nice shot.

Nicely done :)

#2 is very nice, #1 is a little to dark for me, and you could have used a little more fill light in number 3, but overall great set for your first time out!

#2 is amazing. I love everything about it.

#3 looks to me like a picture that would have been taken on vacation where they hand the camera to someone and ask to take a picture of them... it lacks the creativity that the other 2 possess.

for your first one you didnt do bad at all. the last one looks a tad vacation-ish, but the more you do them, the more you will get the hang of it.

did you do anything to help the couple with posing or suggest any type of poses?

Hello! Sorry for my late reply and thank you for your responses.

My personal favourite is #2.

Yes, I helped them a little with posing. Posing in #1 and #2 were from my direction. It is something I am trying to get used to, this was the first couple I have worked with. I hope I am doing an ok job!? In an engagement shoot I feel like the outcome should be beautiful pictures of people who look like they are in love and I feel I achieved the 'love' part....just need to work on the 'beautiful pictures' part.

The rest of the set can be seen here for anyone that is interested;

Thank you again for your input.
