Wide angle for 7D/5D

5D Full Frame:
Kit lens, general walk around lens range is 24-105 L IS.
Canon Ultra Wide angle lenses are the 16-35 f/2.8 and 17-40 f/4

7D Crop Sensor 1.6x:
Kit Lens, general walk around lens range is 18-55 IS.
Canon Ultra Wide lens is the EFS 10-22.

Canon L lenses fit on both the Full frame and crop sensors.
EFS only fits crop

Many people use their Tokina 11-16mm on both 1.6 crop cameras AND 1.3 or Full Frame cameras:
