I really dig that black and white. The tones and focus are spot on. Great work.

These are terrific. the third one would be my fav but his eyes appear a bit soft, like the focus is on his beard. Whatever, you got some great stuff there, you've seemed to really capture this guys personality. nice work.

4 and 5 are amazing! I agree with sue, on a couple of them they seem OoF but you did a great job with the lighting.

Thanks everyone. I agree that close up is soft. I'm still learning how to use my new 85 1.2L! If it were up to me, I'd love to do this session closer to sunset, but we were about 3 hours off sunset time, so lighting was a challenge. We're in the middle of filming his music video, so I'll be taking more pictures of him over the next week! I'll take these critiques into my next sessions and hopefully get some better shots! Stay tuned for the video. =)

Very nice!
Love the natural surroundings/tones/colors that perfectly coordinate with his wardrobe.

Nice stuff and I like the stuff on your website... What are some of your natural light tips? I get a bit worried when I do outdoor w/o some sort of flash/ reflector.
