I carry a cheap knock-off of the MicroTek Halo mentioned on the 1st page. It functions well for my non-combat uses. When I mess it up, I buy another for $30-$50 at a local knife show. (plus, when I pull it out & flick the switch a couple times, there's a sudden "pause" by all the people around me... hee hee)

I was moderately intrigued by this S&W one; so I got it. Nice that it's spring assist.

Leatherman wave is new. Maybe 2 weeks old. Just got it since my leatherman pulse broke. Lasted around 5 years so not too bad. Beretta is my favorite. The black on is my daily purpose one I use for work. Just a cheap one I bought.

I've been thinking of getting a multi-tool/knife to add to my kitbag when i'm out and about but I'll need to brush up on the UK laws for carrying them first to see what i can get away with.

Really? They just burned down half the city and got away with it, and you're worried about a multi tool? I give you a lot of credit.

Gerber is a good cheap one to use once in a while. But as a daily use tool, it's not good. Leatherman makes great ones but slightly more then Gerber. But well worth the price difference.

Check out the SOG PowerLock (external link), it's awesome. Occasionally Steep and Cheap (external link) has them for a great price.
