Recent vacation to Myrtle Beach. I wound up taking about 600 pics  but haven't gotten through all of them yet. I'm still up in the air if I like the bright sun in the first one let me know what you think. C & C is always appreciated.

I found the other day that flower pics are really not as simple as they look. They need a high aperture so that DOF is not tooooo thin, reasonable shutter speed and good light (or flash). Also it is very difficult to keep focus on a tiny part of it (probably moving also in the breeze/wind).

Thanks I will keep that in mind. I should use my 430ex II more often I don't know why it is just seating in my bag....

Thanks bobo, I just had to bin three times as many shots to get these few.
The spider in the web was a nightmare, the others I could hold a leaf to steady the branch, but that meant shooting one handed.
All good fun ;)

Hey no problem Peter. He is a great man, but sadly he was placed in a bad spot in our city. Too many traffic signals and sign posts around him

To bin or not to bin - that is the question.

Nowadays, if the "target" is not perfect in my eyes it is binned. So at the end of a long session I may end up with just 5-10 pics. One day it was just ONE. :(

Imagine what it would cost if we only had film and no digital.
