I'm trying to remove the watermark on a gallery and have been unable. I've gone through the gallery settings and removed any protections I can find and still the watermark appears.
Any ideas?

Smugmug's service is awesome.
Send them an email and you'll get your answer faster than you'll get it here.
And it'll be the correct answer.

Agreed.

I have smugmug myself and they are always really fast on the response. I get some instantly back and sometimes a few hours, but really have had a good experience with it.

I would also check the forums that it has for help, and personally I would expect that setting to be under something in the particular gallery's settings page.

Yeah. I had a problem when I removed the watermark in the gallery settings and it didn't go away. Would be interested to hear what you find out.

+1 on asking them. Their customer service is great.

I've added watermarks to galleries and it has sometimes taken a day or 2 to show up (various schedules of servers updating or some chit). 'Tis probably all it is.

Are you doing it through gallery settings or through the watermarking option in the tools section? I've never had good luck with the gallery settings changing or removing watermarks and always do it through tools/many photos/watermarking.

^This

To remove a watermark you must go into the gallery then click Tools > Many Photos > More > Watermarking. Then on the next page click Select All, Remove, then Watermark. Our servers will start the process which can take up to a couple hours, sometimes faster sometimes slower.
