Hi all

Here are a few shots of Gyrfalcons. I've been longing to photograph this species for many years and finally this summer I got the opportunity I had been waiting for. The weather might have been better but I tried to make the most of it. Gyrfalcons are protected by law in Iceland so you need a special permit from the government to photograph them during the breeding season.

I saw your name, I clicked the post, I sat in awe.

Standard procedure. :) Awesome stuff Sindri, so glad to see your post, it's been too long.

That looks like some tricky terrain, how was the footing?

Stunning images Sindri. I went through them again and tried to pick my #1 favourite. Couldn't do it so I gave up, they're all so good! :)
