Previewing on a laptop

I've seen a few people use this system when working with models. Is it easy to set up - does it require special software?

Any comments or advice would be welcome

EOS Capture, which is part of the Canon software solutions disc, will do this. If you really want, you can get another program to do more-or-less the same thing.

Ah - thanks for that - must have a fiddle with that software - normally tend to only use CS2, so haven't loaded it.

it is actually a pretty cool program. It also has a really cool feature that let's you do timed shots for self portraits

C1 will do this as well, I love being able to shoot right into it, view it and know if I need to reshoot a product.
