So.. when is Canon coming with something like these NEX cameras? Its pretty amazing what kind of quality you can get from these small and compact cameras!

Took this with my new NEX-C3 + 18-55 kitlens @ ISO1600

Ahh your talking about the new NEX-7. That one looks sweet. But that sensor looks like its being outpreformed by the lower end NEX-5N when it comes to high ISO noise. At least when you compare A77 with the same sensor as NEX-7 against NEX-5N tests.
Then again.. this could be pre-production pix they tested.

Ok wow that's looking really good, crisp and clear with nice colors.
Quite impressive to be honest.

Yeah.. i really think that Sony is on to something. This mirrorless cameras are interesting, and their new sensors is pretty cool!
I cant wait to see what Canon does to respond to this ^^

I've had a nex-3 for about 6 months, love it! Nice to have a hand held camera for family stuff and not have to lug my gear around

I've been using an NEX-5 for almost a year and it's one of the best investments in photo gear I've made. It doesn't do the same job as an SLR, but it does a fantastic job when an SLR is the wrong tool. The NEX-3 is out of production now as it didn't sell well so there may be some real bargains.

I've been toying with the idea of NEX or 4/3rd's camera but when I think why I am looking for an alternative to what I have, something pocketable or almost so, they don't fit the requirement. If I have to have a bag with me or carry the camera on my shoulder I might as well bring my 5DII.

Oh well.....

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.
