I was out there a couple days, need to go out there for a longer amount of time next year. Met up with a friend who drove from Philly! I "only" drove from San Diego. Next year I think I will try to get someone to split a small RV with me.

Thanks, I really did go out there mainly hoping to shoot that truck. I hope the pics you got sell! I am just going to try to use mine to get someone to pay for me to shoot next year. haha. I am going to try to go next year for sure. Hell, I would go to the World Finals thing in October if I could.

Very cool! Just checked out the article of the guy who took his truck 180+ there. Ridiculous. how hard is it shooting white cars with the light reflecting off the ground?

Its a little tricky, but its not so bad. It just takes some experimentation to get things right. And when I was taking images of that truck, there was good cloud cover and the sun was low so that made it pretty simple to deal with.

just a couple extra...

Good stuff, should imagine filters get used in these type of shots, either CPs or Grads because of the very bright light.

I did have a CP, i probably could have used a ND or a gradient. I might have to pick some up before I head back next year.
