Don't worry, if the plates don't fit tight just put a little tape on it, it'll snug it up nicely.

OP, do yourself a favor for the long run... Swallow the cost (or save up more) and go all Really Right Stuff. You can get a lot the stuff used for a bit less on eBay if you watch it for a bit. You will be glad you did. Its a worthwhile investment and they are the best for a reason. Once you make the jump youll wonder how you ever used anything else.

I think I'll be going for the RRS L plate, just got to find somewhere over here that will sell it as I'm not dealing with customs again.
