Not much in the poses. But the tree is really cool. The Octopus Spruce at Cape Meares in Oregon. The main trunk is 15 feet diameter at ground level and the right limb is almost 8 feet diameter.

Okay I did my first attempt and I'm somewhat agitated...camera never moved, but after merging the photos, saving and then modifying in lightroom I noticed somehow I’m in a different position in the last photo with my wife and baby. And of course, the table is all mess up. I don’t really want to start from scratch, but it looks like I may be doing that…arg. Any thoughs would be helpful!

No reflection of "you" in the middle pic off the coffee table.

I don't see what you are referring to in the "different position with wife and baby"

All this is great stuff, but much of it begs the question...
Why is a violent theme so predominant?

I don't know? I did mine today after looking through this whole thread yesterday at work. I watched a suspense movie last night too. It is weird how everyone's is violent...including mine.

Just an extension of the term, "I'm my own worst..(insert nemesis)"

The typical struggle of a person to overcome their limitations, better themselves, improve upon prior efforts, and generally be hard on themselves would likely give rise to the violent leanings of these photographs...after all, if you met your inner critic, wouldn't you like to give them a smack across the head?

An old friend more than likely will pass on either because of a bad back.
