I don't even think there will be a DSLR to be announced soon :(

Nikon have moved their facilities to Malaysia since the earthquake...do you really think they could pull off making a new dslr while moving those stuff?

If parts procurement is the issue then no. The fact that Sony did the announcement now with the release of October I would have to assume Nikon can do it as well.

The sooner these systems get announced/released the sooner will have RAW support for our Abode/Apple PP products.

The S8100pj looks interesting. Camera with a projector on it? Why not.

true enough... but our cameras become obsolete by the day...best thing to do is used them every single time we can

But mine is based on a D200 and it's nowhere near obsolete... ;) :)

I don't believe there is either, just a couple thousand shots seems very little over a year or two time frame.

I'm in that range; my camera is about three years old and I have just over 3K shots on it. But then I have four film cameras that I mostly use... ;)

The next rumored announcement is only a couple weeks away so we may not have to wait too long.

The A77 is a nice insight to what the D400 may be.

I have one... a 55mm f/2.8 Micro that can't focus beyond a few feet away
