I would never put my gear in my checked baggage. I have also watched them load the baggage on the plane. I watched them drop someones luggage off the conveyor and another vehicle run it over and they just laughed picked it up and threw it in the plane :(

Got the dreaded dark spots on all my images.
Do you guys clean the sensor yourself or get a shop to clean it?

Poor, poor!

I have never cleaned mine but really should one day. The blower does see a lot of use though.

If you have not done it before it is better to take it in.

I did it myself a couple of times already. Just be careful, I used Eclipse sensor swab. If you go their website they have instructional video of how to use the swab. It cost $15.95 pack of 4 in our local camera store size 2 for t2i.
