When shooting grizzly, try and get shots of their paws with claws if you can. It always adds something to the pic to see the size of them You mean as they are about to swipe across your face?? OK-probably nice but better leave that to the pros and experienced. I was lucky enuf to visit there and saw grizzlies but they were a long ways off-probably good 'cause I am the slowest. But what a place, right?!? Thanks for sharing-you'll remember and talk about those for years. Rog

Aug 27, 2011 18:28 | #21 Nope no bus for us. We had a road pass from a lodge owner. So we were in our own vehicle, lucky us for sure! 5DMKIII | EOS M | 14mm f/2.8 Rokinon | 15mm f/2.8 fisheye | 16-35mm f/4 L | 24-105mm L | 50mm f/1.4 USM | 100mm Macro f/2.8 L IS | 580ex II | Benro C2980F Veratile legs w/ Manfrotto 468MGRC2 Head | www.alaskanphotographs.com

Aug 29, 2011 23:39 | #24 Ya know bears aren't really interested in eating humans right? This time of year they are eating 23 hours a day to prepare for hibernation. He was all business in a blueberry patch when I got these pictures. 5DMKIII | EOS M | 14mm f/2.8 Rokinon | 15mm f/2.8 fisheye | 16-35mm f/4 L | 24-105mm L | 50mm f/1.4 USM | 100mm Macro f/2.8 L IS | 580ex II | Benro C2980F Veratile legs w/ Manfrotto 468MGRC2 Head | www.alaskanphotographs.com

Sep 09, 2011 00:21 | #30 Nice. Were were in Denali last week and we didn't see any bears, but we didn't take the bus tour. We saw our bears on the Russian River.
