Hi would love to have some cc on this picture. I am not having much experience with landscape, and find it very challenging. Would love to hear if I have overdone this, or any tip on improve the picture.

I am here to learn, so any comments that will help me improve will be received with thanks...

This is Krimmler Waterfall... the longest waterfall in Austria. A total length of 380m devided into three big steps. Here is the last of them.

Living in Austria, I am so glad that there is stuff like Gimp out there...
I am a happy giver, so if you find any misspelling in my text, you can keep them... :)

I like that second shot much better... In the first, looking straight down on the scene does nothing for me.. With the second shot, we get to see a glimmer of those gorgeous mountains in the background...

The vantage point isn't working. If you had been positioned near where the bystanders are in the first image, it looks like you would have had a better view of the falls and the pool, as well as some interesting foreground elements, making for a more visually appealing image.

I have some shots from that position to. But the level of wather brought up from the watherfall was to heavy, afther a few seconds the camera and the lens was totaly wet. So, I had to find another angle with less wather in the air...
