There was a report out a while ago that the biggest tester of new web technologies is the porn industry, to the extent that developers knew they were on the right track if their streaming video or some other new software was being taken up by porn sites. Why would porn sites use a lossy, inferior format? :p

Oh, I would imagine that some might see fit to peep at more than just pixels. ;)

"Irregardless" (coming back to topic :mrgreen: ) of matters of morality or taste, internet porn's place as a thermometer of new technologies certainly implies that tecnical issues such as vivid detail are part of the porn industry.
