What Tablets for storing jpegs?

Which Tablet would be best for storing and viewing quality? It would need to have a USB on it for downloading jpegs onto it.

Toshiba Thrive - I just got one a week ago and love it. Full USB, HDMI, Micro USB and SD card slot. You could just put the JPEGS on a jump drive or an SD card and have all the flexibility in the world.
The only draw back is that it is thicker than other tablets because it has the full ports - oh, the battery is user swappable too!

I use Xoom.
Ipad is sexy but it takes little bit more to do what I wanted to.
Android tablet is not the best but gets job done.
Only if Ipad has file manager without jail......

iPad hands down. Just buy a USB adapter (there are third party ones). The iPad is light and thin and has a good photo app and others available via App Store.

An IPS screen is essential.

If you can get your hands on a HP Touchpad, that would work well too.

the iPad. Just get the $30 camera connection kit - has an adapter for both USB and SD cards that plugs into the dock connector on the bottom. Battery life is phenomenal, and the screen color and viewing angles are amazing. It has an IPS screen. There are also tons of photo editing/tweaking apps on the app store, in some cases you can make quick adjustments on the fly.

I'm not an Apple fanboy, but I just got an iPad 2 and it really is a nice tablet.

Nope. No tablet will be any good for editing. IPS is essential for viewing if there's more than two people trying to see at the same time. Other screens start losing colour at anything but straight-on viewing angles.

i understand, but it's not ESSENTIAL. IPS is overall better for editting in general. i wouldn't think anyone would edit on a tablet.

There are, actually, some decent quick editors on the iPad. Luminance is one, as is Pixlromatic (although that is more of a picture effect generator), and I'm sure there are a few others. They aren't a replacement for a full blown editor on a PC, but they are amusing and useful for quick edits in the field.

I'm using an iPad2, 3rd party connector to allow the importing of RAW's and Jpeg direct from CF card..

Edit them using SnapSeed or PhotoForge 2

The iPad is not the only application for this, sorry.

There are some other none iOS alternatives that also have IPS screens, and there are great gallery and editing tools as well.
