A couple more:

Are they lighting the castle with multi-colors now or was this done in post?

I like the first one you posted, but there's something about the second two that seems off to me.

Awesome shot and the new entrance looks really cool. Well captured.

Glad to see the construction there is complete because it was a real mess with the temp fencing. Makes me want to renew my pass, but it will have to wait.

moeronn- The castle pictures are the new show before wishes starts. Its part of the Magic and memories campaign. They light the castle with projectors. There is a little PP on the fireworks picture, but none on the 2 castle shots other than adjusting the exposure a little.

Here's one more. The show is actually pretty good.

Everestnut - Great series of the castle and "Wishes." I'm hoping to get back and try the fireworks with a ND filter soon.

Here is City Hall in Toon Town, Disneyland.

Thanks for the info and clarification. The projectors explain why it looked like the castle was "painted".

It will probably be a while before we get the chance to visit WDW again, so Wishes will probably be revamped a few times by then. Hopefully we'll get to see some of the new attractions at Disneyland and CA soon enough.

I hope to add to this thread in two weeks! Funny...wife and I are late 40's/early 50's - lived in FL for a # of years in our (much) younger days and had season passes, and yet we still get excited going back!!

We were just there last year and I left thinking I am done for a few years and then started looking at this thread and got me missing the 'ol place :)

So you all cost me a lot of money!

Nice pics, everyone.
