G'day from Australia,
Macro photography is fast becoming my favourite hobby, I thought as an introduction I'd post 4 of my favourite photos .... so far.
A Jumping spider eating a Flatid Planthopper, found this in my backyard and got a good set.

An ant mimic jumping spider, not a great technical photo, but it's a favourite at the moment because I've just found them nearby. I only have 3 photo's of this guy so far ....

The impossible tiny black weevil. This weevil is around 3mm and very hard to get a photograph of. When the flash goes off, it runs. If you bump the leaf it's on, it runs. If you breathe on it, it runs. I managed to get 2 keepers of this guy after months of trying.

Hard to pick a 4th ... I'll go for a Black Jumping spider, this is one of the first photo's I got after getting the MP-E and MT24ex. This photo started my obsession with jumping spiders and my love of the MP-E lens.

With so many species of jumping spiders to be found in my yard I find myself picking up the camera almost everyday at the moment. Really keen to learn more on this hobby, CC always welcomed.
Cheers,
Brian
