Note: I was wondering if I can get a better bokeh with this lens?

Cheers

Yeah, it's all a matter of the distance between you and the subject, then the distance between the subject and the background. Bokeh for this lens seems to be much better for shots like these... where I was a yard or two away from the subject and then the background, which was about 3-4 yards beyond has that nice blur. If you wanted that for your car photo, you'd need to be much closer to the car or the background much further away.

Hello,

A friend of mine went to a drift school and that is a great oportunity to take some photos.

Here is the car:

What is "better bokeh"? I assume you mean more background blur, in which case stand back farther, zoom to 250mm, and shoot at f/5.6 for shallowest depth of field.

What's with the sticky tires up front and crappers on the rear of that car? Pretty bad drift school if you ask me.

In the England,(UK) we have many wild animal parks and zoo's....in the Lake District we have the South Lakes Wild Animal Park and so far it is the best i've been to because you really can get close to the animals.

The Canon 55-250mm lens is an awesome lens, the only bit i don't like is the soft edges.

Thanks for the comment and the critique. Well, I am sure you are right, 250mm and f5.6, hum, next time!

Well, did you hear about the world crisis? :)

Cheers

I've been walking around with my new friend - just to become acquainted. Here's one from an antique show at 55mm, 1/60 sec, f/4, ISO400, w/flash... plus a close crop to show IQ.
