How do you get that info?
I can see it in Camera Raw easily enough but how do you get it like that?

FYI, I had to save your image to my mac before dragging it into EXIF Viewer. I've since deleted the download.

Oh, double FYI, it doesn't always work with all images. Some photo files/links block the detail. I am by no means an expert of such things.

It looks to me that your focus point is slightly deeper than her eyes. Do you have your focus change orientation when you shoot in portrait/tall?
Your point of focus should be her eyes. Also if you want the point of focus to be the main flower in the picture a single focus point will dispel any problems that may arise when focusing.

OK, I'm following with great interest

The 7D has to be the most controversial (for the lack of a better word) camera out. I, too, have posted a lot of questions regarding the IQ straight out of the camera and followed certain topics on the 7D regarding noise issues and ISO limitations. I have looked at the images posted by others and found that a number had a "soft" appearance, where others are tack sharp. Like the OP, I prefer SOOC, and prefer not to PP (which isn't possible some times). I prefer to shoot in manual - set my own ISO, shutter speed, aperture and focus the lens myself, which makes a lot of great features redundant.
I have come to the opinion that this camera has a very steep learning curve, so much so, that a new user will have problems with it straight out of the box. I expect the same when I get my 7D. This points the finger straight at the user - get to know your equipment, learn its functions, capabilities and short fallings, and educate yourself as much as you can. From all accounts, this should be a fantastic camera, there are way too many happy users on this forum alone, with varying degrees of knowledge and expertise, for it to be a "dud".
This thing intimidates me, because of what I keep reading about it. There are a lot of people bagging this camera, but those that are happy with it, far out-weigh the baggers. My favourite saying is :- "A bad Tradesman always blames his tools", and I believe that seems to be the case with those that bag this camera.
I believe the OP needs to get to know his equipment. I have seen a lot of posts where someone has just got the 7D and found that it was not up to their expectations, and with a little advice from the good people here, you see these "newbies" get to know their camera and their happiness increases with latter posts. Don't worry, I will be one of these people, but I will persist to get the best out of it by increasing my knowledge. I've ordered a couple of books on the 7D so that I may understand the camera before it arrives.
Hang in there mate, I believe you have a great bit of kit, the good folk here will help you on that steep learning curve.

PS There are a few people here that seem to have a fantastic grasp on this camera. TeamSpeed being one that pops up regularly in most posts regarding the 7D, and I found that his advice is worth gold.

I'd stop down the lens a bit. It's sharp wide open but stoppingit down could improve it a bit for you.

I have left the shooting style in Standard for all shots so far. I believe that in while shooting in RAW they have no effect? Might be wrong though - have to check the book again.
