I'd never marry a woman who would have a problem with it.

They change after you get married. Someday, you will know.

My wife would just not care.

That's the opposite of how she was when we got married.

Another type of change I hope you do not experience.

To make a really long and boring story short, The Wife was initially uncomfortable with the idea when I first got my camera. Fast-forward a couple of years. The Wife now has a photography business where models, boudoir and occasional nudes make up a growing portion of her clientele. It took maybe two shoots for her to understand how non-sexual a shoot is. She now has me assist her, solicits my input on the finished shots and even sends me out on solo assignments. Nothing demystifies something as much as doing it.

With that kind of support it won't be long before she steps in front of the camera.

Alas, I've learned that I can't shoot The Wife. She's a better photographer than me and every time we've tried to shoot she brings her own ideas that I just can't capture. We end up fighting over lighting ratios and end up all flustered.

my wife might take a camera class to learn how to better learn her XT, but I doubt she's going to steal my lights for naked chicks.

I think I know of four good marriages. And one was on TV.

Not really the same thing. That is something that needs to be done, whereas we can just as easily photograph anything else.

Apart from that, my doctor is a woman. And a very attractive one at that. So we are pretty much equal on that front.

Been married 23 years and shooting models 5-6 years, the wife is very supportive of my hobby. She has assisted on some shoots, suggested poses, served snacks and done emergency repair on wardrobe malfunctions. As it has been said on here before it is a trust factor. We both trust each other completely. Part of our trust is that we both every similar values, backgrounds and were good friends prior to marriage.

Well in my youth I done a fair bit of glamour work and pictures of attractive females.....then I met my partner who was jealous of the whole idea and made me stop photographing/even seeing other girls. She even went as far as destroying almost all of my collection of pictures (including negatives). Even though I had big argument over these our relationship won the day and we stayed together for 22 years (before she went of with another man....) but my cost was to literally give my hobby which at the time I was almost ready to go Pro.....Well now I am back in market as a single (only a 14 year daughter to worry about these days) I intend to rekindle my desires and start photographing at a more professional level.....However, it does appear I have a lot of catching up to do with the advances and changes in the profession due to updated technology etc.....

regards
Birderman

^^ You'll be fine, in time. At middle age, you can be more productive and more effective than just about any twenty-something, even your old version of you.
