Here's a young girl proudly wearing her Yosemite Junior Park Ranger Badge. I came across her and her family while hiking up to Sentinel Dome. I like the sun poking through the top of the hat onto her forehead and the shadow the hat casts on most of her face.

Inchpractice - that is beautiful capture. Not easy capturing clouds like that.

Love this! I'm a radio engineer by day so this made me say WOW out loud. I love the cloud around the towers

There's a subtlety to it that just seems peaceful. Whatever Flickr did to it didn't ruin that. Good shot!

Took this shot last week at the top of a mountain in Sicily just as a cloud was passing over.
As usual Flickr has sucked all the life out of it but hey.

My first outing with the new camera. My first time ever shooting sports. Using the 55-250mm.

here are mine... like said.. i still need to hone skills.... my son didnt make any team (seemed they were booked) so i had nobody to take pics of to practice.. then my little guy.. umm i was coaching.. so no camera action there...

well my spider shot isnt as good.. no macro lens or tubes.... just my 24-105L

sports.. sheeze.. sun going down quick... sun going way down... i have a few other shots that maybe better but this was my son saving the shot from yellow (deptford).... just wish it was earlier...

but full picture to show you that 250mm on a 1.6 crop = shot from AFAR in depleting light...

Great shots...did you shot this in manual focu. or auto. I borrowed my friend's macro 100mm but did gave it up after 1 use I can't get a sharp pic not a single one, um did have to cropped this? Maybe I should try not to be too close to the subject and just cropped it out in pp. Well I still have the lens so tomorrow I will be out to give it another try. with 100mm how far you should be from the subject to get a sharp pic or focus
