Hi all, I got up in the dark to get the sunrise this morning and Have posted 2 images for honest / brutal cc please. Im just looking to improve so honesty is good for me :)

I really like the first one. I think if you cropped out the negative space on the left it would be a stronger image. An increase in contrast wouldn't hurt either :)

Gorgeous light. I love the little s-curve at the bottom too. I find the horizon a little distracting as it's the boats that are the focus of the shot, so I'd get lower and but the boats on the horizon.

Light, color, composition are great, very nice job.

I wouldn't crop anything out of #1. The boats are all facing to the left and need that space to balance the image.

It was well worth getting up early for. I like the tranquil early morning shot.
