A really nice series.

I think that sometimes we concentrate a little too much on focussing on the eyes. The last but one shot is a an example of that. The whole thing is not blurred, and the bits that are not do not detract from the image, they make it work. To me the eyes follow the sharp focus rear end, and go to the softer focus, where the bug has a hand on the chin, looking to one side, suggesting "Where now?".

Nice set of shots! I think #3 is my favorite.
Please, tell me how you captured these shots. My hat is off to you!


Building the collection slowly..... 7D gripped, 550D gripped and some gLass.... and some other glass.... and some lights....more strobes than you can shake a stick at.... Just a hobby gone out of control....
