This is my setup for macro, this shows all three tube sections together but I would normally use one ( two max ) together. The three lengths are 12mm, 20mm and 36mm, you can use them in any combination with no loss of IQ. If you like to use AF you maintain this with the Kenko tubes, you can also still use ETTL with the flash but I like to use the flash in manual mode so I get greater control over the L & R ratio.
Sorry about the IQ of these shots, they are taken with an old handy-cam.

I've been having a lot of focusing issues lately with my T2i. It seems like I'm getting a lot of front-focused shots. It was the worst with my 85mm f/1.8. My 18-55, 55-250 do it slightly, my 50mm f/1.8 rarely gets accurate focus at all. My 15-85mm is perfect except at 15mm where it always front focuses by about 6-8 inches. It seems like the further away a subject is the worse the focus gets. Any other t2i users having focus issues - specifically front focus?

The only focus issues I ever have is when using third party lenses. All my Canon lenses focus very well.
It sounds like you're using Canon lenses in which case I can only assume that there's something wrong with the camera. You might want to take it back to the shop and let them test it.
Do the lenses ever hunt?

Which lens are you actually using after the tubes?

Took with my new Sigma 30. Wide open f/1.4, 1/100, ISO 800. First time using a prime! PP style inspired by TGKW in LR3.

Yes. All except the 15-85mm. ... what does that mean? :(

Do they hunt all the time or only in low light situations?

Ah yes the famous 100mm. I have the 60mm EF-S macro and it's ultra-sharp but yours has an even better reputation.
I'd like to try it one day.

Even in ideal light situations it hunts. It'll go in and out before deciding that it's "in focus." Here's an example, this is from my 18-55mm. I used the center AF point to focus on her eye, but the focus is actually on the rocks(bottom right) about a foot in front of her.

That photo certainly backs up your claim. Doesn't look right to me.
None of your lenses should hunt in ideal situations so something must be wrong there.
I'm no expert so all I can suggest is that you take it back to the shop and take that photo with you as evidence.

My 18-55mm has been acting up too. The focusing just doesn't seem right at all. I took a trip to Cali and 90% of my pics with the 18-55mm are crap, but when I used my 50mm 1.8, they were perfectly fine.

For anyone interested in time lapse videos I made a test just to get the hang of it, I did not have a good background but it was more of a test to see if the settings were right, processed with quick time player pro, very simple!!!
