pretty wife
i think her head looks to be floating a little because of where the hand is and the triangle of white at the bottom

Thanks Brian, I agree on the head. Not the best pose, but I decided to use this to brush up the CS skills as the face was cropped in more than others in that set.

Nice job on the skin. I hate the over processed plastic barbie doll look and this looks great.

Thanks, yes I agree, therefore I tried dust and scratch technique, light brushing, fake make up, liquify etc. on this.

since you are saying you are doing a fashion style - beauty shot.... a lot is left here.
eyebag color difference
eye enhancement
stray hairs on ears
skin smoothening needs more detail
nail color is different from lip color
even out color of lipstick especially corners
needs a lot of contouring

Probably misinterpreted the aim - photo was done a long time ago, so nothing I can change there now. My aim was more practice on CS to achieve a bit smooth fashion style edit, not photo. That's sounds better? :) Thanks Phil for all the input.

Nice photo. Good job on the skin.

If you want to learn, Phil just gave you a free lesson plan for your next CS session. I think that photo is worth investing a bit more time.

Should have probably thrown in the original with a bit of edit, to show what I did.

Yeah Frank, will work on what PhilF suggested to improve!

The best book I found on CS in general is Katrin Eismann's Restoration and Retouching using Photoshop.

Give that a try by starting over using the glamour steps in her book.
