This is my setup for macro, this shows all three tube sections together but I would normally use one ( two max ) together. The three lengths are 12mm, 20mm and 36mm, you can use them in any combination with no loss of IQ. If you like to use AF you maintain this with the Kenko tubes, you can also still use ETTL with the flash but I like to use the flash in manual mode so I get greater control over the L & R ratio.
Sorry about the IQ of these shots, they are taken with an old handy-cam.

What eye cup do you use and do you like it? I haven't seen to many on the market and most get mix reviews. I'm constantly wiping off the LCD from my face and nose getting all over it.

I know what you mean, this was just a cheap £5.00 one off of eBay. never had a problem with the cup, but I still get marks now & again, not half as bad though.

Also, for daytime time Lapses you want to use medium quality pictures(the round one), raw files would take too much time editing and would be cropped since hd video is only 1920x1080p.

Looking at the exif data it appears to be the lowly 18-55 kit lens. I wish I could get that much detail out of my lens!!!!!

I was replying to payndew, who I presume was asking DigitalTuned.

But then I may have, as is often the case, got the wrong end of the stick, so to speak.

Even in ideal light situations it hunts. It'll go in and out before deciding that it's "in focus." Here's an example, this is from my 18-55mm. I used the center AF point to focus on her eye, but the focus is actually on the rocks(bottom right) about a foot in front of her.

Chris the best thing to do is send the T2i in for service.

My T2i also had some weird focusing issues with my 50mm. From 1 to 7 feet the focus was right on most of the time. From about 8 to 20 feet or so, front focusing would occur about 50/50 percent of the time. Of course most notable when shot wide open.

Anyway dropped off my T2i and lens off at Jamesburg, NJ service center and it looks like all the focusing issues are fixed.

Hi everyone,

Thought I would start contributing to this thread because I love my T2i, its my first DSLR and Canon has won me over with it that I won't be looking at other brands anytime soon. Here is a photo I took the other day for my 365 project with it. Looking forward to contributing more in the future.
