I love the look in his eyes. still think i could do more work on this one though.

yeah sorry about that!

it was the same photo but i thought of a couple things i could do in post to take it a bit more where i wanted it to be. and deleted the older version from flickr.

but i think im happy with this one

Okay, I came back for a revisit and still think this shot is awesome, but think if it were mine... I'd clone out the two flies on and near his ear. A very minor fix.

Thanks so much! it means a lot to read that!

About the flies. i kinda liked how they made him look a bit more griddy. he's a bear and though i shot this in a zoo i wanted him to look wild and weathered.

That photo reminds me of either the late, great director Alfred Hitchcock, or the late, great actor John Houseman.
