Had a go at trying some shallow DOF photo's to get a bit more sharpness on the interesting parts of some critters ... I'm on the fence with these ones.

This fly kept flinching when the flash fired ... eventually got a frame around him.

They all look pretty good to me.

Thanks everyone, appreciate the comments.

Pev11, I was actually trying to get a side on photo of this fly at around 1.2-1.5x but it wasn't cooperating, it's a big fly! As I upload photo's that are only 900 pixels wide, this heavy crop doesn't look to bad in this format. After the crop the picture was only around 1300 pixels wide. Not a picture I could ever print to well unless it's small.
