A golden eagle takes flight.

Taken from close range with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM.

I also took this an hour or so later, at the same place. Not sure if it was the same bird or not, since there were several circling the area (unusual for eagles, I know).
