and Rinty, Shepard Mix, although shepard is his strongest one (Named after Rin tin tin jrs screen name in the "adventures of rex and rinty" more on that in a sec..)

Both of these pooches are rescues. Gizmo was born after his mother was pulled from the dump, we adopted him as he was just a wonderful dog.

Rinty came into our lives a few months later. We had heard that the same rescue group that fostered our dear gizmo was attempting to save another litter of puppies, however they were starving and weren't in all that great of shape.... Rinty came home two days after he was in foster care. Now one would ask... why rinty? As the story goes the original Rin tin tin was an GSD that was found in france during world war one by an american soilder, the soilder brought the dog home were it starred in several movies, Rinty was the screen name of Rin tin tin Jr in the series "The adventures of rex and rinty". With Rin tin tin being an rescue of sorts it only felt fitting that ours had the name aswell, but I didn't feel right naming him Rin tin tin as thats a fairly established breeding line (tenth generation now..?) Regardless, these two furballs keep us pretty busy, and right now I wouldn't have it any other way.

Few pics from the dog park last week
