Hi all.
First post in Wildlife section of the POTN :D

Found this snake in Richard DeKorte park in Lyndhurst, NJ.
Could someone ID it please?

Looks like a garter snake, one of the most widespread (and harmless) snakes in North America.

Nice shots BTW!

Yup, Garter Snake; great thing to have in the gardens...non-aggressive and help keep bugs/rodents down
