This is certainly not up to par with most of the shots here, but this is my first attempt at a BIF (I was hoping to find an eagle this day, but..)

It's really hard to pick a favorite bird but if I had to it would probably be a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.

That's what great bird photography is all about. A razor sharp image of a hard to see bird. Congratulations.


7D with 400 F 5.6 for birds

My favorite are the Kite. This pair had three sets of babies this year producing 9 little kite I got to watch grow up.

No, I caught him today stealing crab pot bait out of the bed of a pickup. Fella had three frozen pink salmon in a 5 gallon bucket that this guy and his partner were after.
