Brilliant!
Absolutely love these mate!
Did you design them or have somebody else do them for you?

From a design point of view, these are gorgeous...and I'm a graphics designer myself :)

Thank you very much. I designed them myself. Just like the plain and simple look, but to the point, especially with repetition of my logo.

I'm using my logo very consistently (website, stickers, business cards). Also, doing a kind of guerrilla marketing with my stickers, and posting them in obscure places. (check the photos sections "stickers" on my facebook page http://www.facebook.com/fotosbyalex (external link)) ever since I was young, I was intrigued by this style of marketing, and am now happy to be posting up stickers of my own.

@ vegasboy: that is exactly the kind of business card I was hoping to see coming into this thread.

My only personal thought is (okay, mental ramblings) that if the black ink is printed a certain way it could flake whereas the usual white card might not...obviously I haven't handled any of these so that could be completely wrong. White cards with black have something of the reverse problem, they can get ugly with marks quickly. Obviously, a card like yours is one that calls to be placed somewhere special and not abused in a wallet, so maybe people will be more likely to put it on their desk and look at it later.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Actually they are coated with a slight gloss, so there will be no flaking going on. Its smooth all across. I'm very pleased with them, and excited to give them to clients/potential clients.

Here's the business card that we've been using. It's letterpress on 300 gsm 100% pearl white cotton paper (Crane Lettra).

It's from a local letterpress printer here in Manila.

Thanks dude.

Unfortunately I just bought 1000 business cards (probably given about 50 out) and I have to buy another 1000 because I'm going through the process of changing my last name :(

But you could say you're related to Paul, the comedian, and .... hmm.. yeah I'm out of famous people. Still, proud last name to have!

Back on topic, love the logo. Debating hiring someone with a graphics background to do my own. Nice work!
