I am excited, should be able to post pic's here soon. Have an XTi, Just ordered a T3i with airmile points, it has been shipped. UPS should have it here today or monday,,,

Hoping I see an IQ improvement, but really looking forward to increased ISO and Live View (tilt even) now I should be able to manual focus way better.

and no $$$$$ out of my pocket :)

Hello, new to the forum, totally sick of this , people!!!!! this are some amazing pictures, and a great camera for the buck. I want to shed some tears of jealousy to all of you who own this camera, hope my budget and my luck will help me to get me one of this soon, I have own other 35mm film canon cameras, and some point & shoot ones , but after seen all you peoples pictures. I'm more excited about it.
Are this pictures for real? or all of you use some kind of photo shop to enhance them , I do on mine,
Awesome pictures all of you.

Hey all :)! Just got a T3i last night and I was so excited to use it, but the place we went for night photos didn't turn out to well with a storm coming in and not too much other light out. I got my first DSLR in June and I'm excited to keep progressing and putting some photos up for critiquing and advice. Here's a little of what I've done with my XTI so far http://www.flickr.com/photos/bigbee79/ (external link)

Hey BigBee79, I love the shots with lightning. Did you try to anticipate them or did you set the timer on your camera?

I couldn't get many shots today here in London due to the rain.

Thank you. I was just shooting in Bulb for 10-15 seconds at a time and I would let off the shutter after the lightning strike. You just have to take your chances on areas it's been hitting and hope you get one. Took me a few hours just to get those.
