^ or you could go onto ebay and get some 5-in-1 reflectors that are crazy crazy cheap with the inside diffusion and use that, as well as obtain a reflector itself!

An S95 as a prize?! Wow! a worthy prize for a worthy shot - well done man!

Hehe yeah! It was a big photo competition by the local top uni, sponsored by Canon so I was pretty fortunate!

I thought that was a crater! beautiful shot dude!

Haha yes indeed, I first thought it was a volcano with some water inside once I downloaded it from the camera. Thank you btw!

Amazon had some 43" 5-in-1's for $6.99, I bought one to check out quality before ordering another (I have a Prime membership, so shipping is free)... Got it... Very high quality! Went to order another, and they're gone. I think that price may have been a typo. :(

WOW!!! Lucky you. I forget exactly what I paid for my 5-n-1 but it was way more than seven bucks...

The internet and forum posts are useless at conveying some things humbly without having me sound arrogant I guess!

although with a little tent like box you won't get odd reflections in glossy surfaces. ;)

An old shot. This was done for a small competition on another forum.

IMAGE: http://i56.tinypic.com/2ihxkzo.jpg

Just the single flash, triggered wirelessly on the left, on top of the printer. Used the back sides of a couple of old posters for the base and back ground.

Result:

Not the greatest.

I have some other shots which had some interesting setups, but I don't have the setup shots of those unfortunately.

LOL, I actually said lightbox, but I then realized that it might not be totally clear I meant a little tent. So it was both of our fault. :)

Hopefully I can contribute to this thread sometime this weekend. My friend wants me to take some shots of dice/quarters/solo cups for a party themed playlist that his blog is promoting. I have some ideas; however, I'm limited to my 430EXII being on my 5DII as I dont have a trigger or OCFC.

I was bored tonight and have been inspired by the reverse macro thing so gave it a try. I'll be the first to say I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and my flash decided not to work and I realised I have no lamps in the house so I just improvised lol.
