The wife and I went down to Mexico on a belated honeymoon and visited both the ruins in Tulum and in Coba, didn't make it to C.I. though.

Didn’t keep the camera out for long, weather started getting ugly.

Forgive the palms but the root over rock was pretty cool

The first shot is very nice. When we were at Tulum (around 10 years ago), I thought the beach was spectacular. This also comes through in your photo.

I have an almost exact shot of #1 from 2004 when I was there. Fantastic

Great pics.

Man.... I miss that beach at Tulum. I just sat there imagining what it must have been like swimming in the shadow of that city when it was all painted up. We did that trip with a cheap digicam and I would love to take my good stuff back there, although I would need a third person so the wife and I could swim without worrying about the gear.

I also really want to get back to Ek Balam since you can actually walk on / in the ruins. I would love some shots from that vertigo inducing staircase up the temple.
