Really quick shot from last night:

QUOTED IMAGE

Really like this, but the car is a *tad* bright IMO compared to the background.

I did that just to give it a little bit of extra pop and stand out.

IMAGE: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6065/6151332710_6ce10fafc3_b.jpg

This image was shot for a big car meet coming up to be using as a "hype" flyer. Shot almost 170 images that night and used a good 3/4 of them to put this final image together. Every element was shot individually then combined in post (I can't imagine tying to shoot this in a single image or how many lights that would require). Bare b800 was used for the majority of the image but I did use gelled speedlights in a few area's as well as a 5' octa. Oh yea....and a couple items might have not actually been there that night :-/

Regretfully some of the details are compressed out of the smaller res here but oh well. Image with text on it can be seen on my flickr/facebook if anyone is interested.

two of the images used to get the idea:

How long did capturing the images take you? Whenever I set up in some places, I always get **** from security and blah blah.

Nice shot O3DigitalBath.
Indelible - the car's colour is off and different at rear and front, as well as front needed more light mate! And what is that green light that is distracting? I like the location though!

Good idea, Garrett! I'd knock down that hazy area in the trees just left of center.

+1 on lens distortion. I never liked that look.
