I am planning to buy a Canon 135mm f/2.0 at B&H as they are the cheapest. Are there any other cheaper discounts that B&H offer? I am looking for the best deal I can get on hold of. Thanks.

I have had them price match a couple items for me but for the most part they do have the lowest prices and don't discount...

It is actually less money at Adorama (but check my math).

B&H = $1034

Adorama = $1034 - 3% Mr Rebates discount = $1003

+1 As a few minutes ago, this is still the best option IMHO.

This might be better:

Abe's of Maine for $1034. Use coupon LOYALTY15. Add on Mr. Rebate or Fatwallet Cashback for 2% back. Don't forget to check your credit card cash back for possible higher percentages.

$1034-$15 = $1019 x 0.98 = $998.xx. That's unless you have tax.

FS: Nothing for now.

You are right, that is a better deal, nice find.

But don't forget the aggravation of the Abe's call back where they try to up-sell you before sending your order....

Another option if you can wait a bit: look at the sticky thread in this forum titled "How to manipulate your Amazon Quick Picks to save 5% or more!" If you can get the 135L to show up as a Gold Box deal, you will get 5% off the regular price at that time, which is likely under $1000.

Only issue at the moment is it appears Amazon is out of the 135L, but I'd expect it to be back in stock soon.

Amazon ships lenses the same way they ship books (box, invoice and void fill) - and I've seen reports that Amazon started charging shipping on returns. I rather spend 50$ extra and buy from B&H, Adorama or PMI Digital - these guys pack lenses for shipping like a it's piece of precision electronics with glass

Lol, maybe they just don't like me as most of my purchases come with only four sides of the product cushioned by the air packs.
