I've been trying to play around with that look to some of my images. Only way I've found to somewhat replicate it is adding a gradient layer in PS, adjusting the angle to where you want, change the gradient colors and then for me it ends up being too much so I bump down the opacity.

Nice shot! Though I do have to ask, why the rim is sticking out so much (it looks like the tire isn't wide enough for the rim)? I'm a 4x4 kind of guy and the only other time I've seen this is on rigs from Hawaii.

its just a style of stretching the tires onto the rim, some stretch is nice IMO. If you look at most older datsun's people put flares on and have large offset rims on the back
